Difference between Ocean, sea, beach, lagoon, lake, pond and river.

Ocean: The vast body of salt water that covers almost three fourths of the earth surface.

Sea: A sea is part of the ocean partially enclosed by land. Seas are found on the margins of the                     ocean and are partially enclosed by land.

Beach: An expanse of sand and peddles along a shore.

Lagoon: Lagoons are shallow coastal bodies of water near a sea or ocean, which got separated                         from a larger body of water by some barrier or reefs.

Lake: A body of fresh or salt water of considerable size, surrounded by land.

.
Pond: A body of water smaller than a lake, sometimes artificially formed, as by damming a                              stream.

River: A river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an Ocean, sea,               lake or another river.
